Turkey’s wonderful coastline  is a place that cries out to be explored by boat. This glistening, glimmering, glorious stretch of azure blue glass-clear sea was once the playground of the ancient gods, and no less delightful a place to visit today. A wonderful mix of the old and new, today’s visitors can soak up all the timeless atmosphere by day, and take advantage of the wealth of great activities on offer, while at night hitting some of the cool night spots in the pretty towns and villages along the coast.

For swimming, the idyllically crystal clear waters at Karacaoren bay beckon, with a quayside restaurant to sit and watch the world go by, or, if you’re feeling more energetic, a wonderful walk up the hillside where you will be rewarded with epic views. Patara beach is famed for its wildlife – the eagle eyed may well spot dolphins and turtles basking contentedly in the warm waters. This is the perfect place to try your hand at some water sports – whether you fancy snorkelling or maybe paddle boarding – here the world really is your oyster!

As the sun goes down at the end of the day, relax with a long cool cocktail and sample some delicious Turkish meze, before heading over for a few drinks to one of the many friendly bars that line this lovely coast. Time goes too fast on a sailing holiday like this, but the memories will last forever.
