Sailing holidays in Turkey allow you to experience all the excitement this vibrant destination has to offer, visiting bustling towns and spectacular heritage sites; alternatively, for a blissful escape, drop anchor a short distance from the mainland at the idyllic island of Karacaoren.

The hilly landscape is lovely to walk around and offers great views of both the mainland and across the sea. There are also some charming Byzantine ruins to explore, including a church and several crypts, scattered among the lush vegetation of this miniature paradise.

A collection of small reefs close to the island protect it from very strong currents. Whilst this means sailing conditions are light, it is a fabulous place to enjoy scuba diving or snorkelling. Clear, cool waters ensure you will see some of the stunning local marine life; alternatively, simply lie back and enjoy the warm weather on one of the charming beaches.

In the evening, enjoy a freshly cooked meal at one of the most special restaurants you could hope to find. Raised on stilts, this stunning waterside venue is the perfect place to watch the sunset.

Bijou but beautiful, Karacaoren is the ideal Turkish island getaway.
