There are a number of excellent destinations to visit when you take Turkey sailing holidays, with the Skopea Limani gulf one of the most attractive. Offering a number of different anchorages to sailors, this part of Turkey is full of secret coves, stunning landscapes and beautiful bays.

Visit Turkey - Explore bays and beaches

The bay at Kapi Creek is known for its peace and tranquillity, offering visitors delicious fresh food in typically picturesque, unspoilt surroundings. Hike to the top of the hill for some amazing views and, if you are lucky, watch the local falcons. A little further along the coast you can find Coldwater Bay, which has refreshing cool springs flowing into the sea. This is also the best anchorage for those wishing to visit the ancient abandoned village of Kayakoy.

Tomb Bay is one place you definitely won’t want to miss. Besides the usual pretty surroundings, it is home to fresh water springs that make the perfect place for a cooling dip when the sun is high. The bay takes its name from the impressive rock-cut tombs situated in the nearby cliffs, which are excellent examples of typical Lycian burial chambers.

Gocek may be a small town but it is big on charm and makes a lovely place to explore some of the local culture while you are enjoying the delights of Skopea Limani. In addition to these most popular destinations, there are many magical small coves and bays to discover that make this such a well-loved region for Turkey sailing holidays.
