Bursting with history, exploring the Acropolis and Parthenon is a must-do before you start your Saronic sailing trip. Check in from 4-pm at our marina in Alimos, settle in for some welcome drinks and canapés before heading off for your first Greek dining experience in the culinary rich district of Athens, Alimos.
We will set sail early for a relaxed breakfast and a swim at the north east corner of Aegina Island. Take the opportunity to visit the temple of Aphia tour on the island before, before settling in for a Greek meze treat in the beautiful fishing town of Perdika.
Our next stop is the gem of the Aegean. With a ban on wheeled vehicles, romantic Hydra uses donkeys as its main means of transport. Spend the afternoon swimming and paddleboarding around the stunning bay before wandering the Greek island’s narrow cobbled backstreets – and watch the best sunset in Greece!
Romantic Spetses offers something for everyone; the iconic Cathedral of Agios Nikolaos for history lovers, Paradise Beach for sun-worshippers, and scooter hire for the adventurous. We’ll stay here overnight, so wander its enchanting old town where you’ll find lively bars and clubs – or head to the beach for a late-night party!
We make our way back north to the tiny Greek island of Poros, famed for its wild lemon trees, and watersports! Spend the afternoon zipping along the Aegean Sea wakeboarding, waterskiing or parasailing before sampling some of the best Greek food – and cocktails – on the island.
Epidvaros is rustic Greece at its finest — surrounded by dramatic mountains and orange groves as far as the eye can see. A short ride from town the world’s largest and most intact ancient Greek amphitheatre can be explored, famous for its near-perfect acoustics.
After a refreshing morning swim in the crystal-clear Aegean Sea, we’ll set sail for our final destination on your island-hopping sailing trip. We’ll arrive back in Athens in plenty of time for you to explore this amazing Greek capital.
