Travel Advice Covid-19 Update

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect nations and people all over the world, and in light of the latest European government policies, we’ve reached the decision to suspend the following Yacht Getaways trips:
Croatia:Saturday 30th May 2020
Greece: Saturday 23rd May & 30th May 2020
Montenegro: All departures to run as scheduled
Italy: All departures to run as scheduled
This decision hasn’t been taken lightly, but our first priority is and always will be the well-being of our travellers. This remains subject to change and we will continue to closely monitor the situation over the coming days and weeks.
We’ll be reaching out to affected travellers personally to help them rebook, free of charge on to a new trip in the future for travel during the remainder of the 2020 season or the 2021 season, with a travel credit for 100% of the amount paid to date.

COVID-19 FAQs for Travellers
Should I still come to Europe this year?
Ultimately this is your decision to make. Please bear in mind that most European Governments have implemented restrictions and border controls for all visitors and returning residents whereby they must self-isolate for a minimum of 14-days upon entering the country or there are complete travel bans for 30 days. Most of these policies are in place until Late-April 2020, as it stands these restrictions will not affect our trip departures.
My trip has been suspended, what are my options?
Yacht Getaways would love to have the opportunity to show our guests the best of the Mediterranean later in this season or next, so you will be provided with a travel credit for the amount paid to date which can be applied to another tour later in the season or next, to be used on a tour departing prior to 31st October 2021.
What if I don't know when I can travel again?
If your trip has been suspended and you do not have a new travel date in mind, don't worry we can help. We are currently allowing up until 14 days prior to your suspended departure date to choose a new travel date, so just update us when you are ready. If we haven’t heard from you, we will send you a reminder closer to this time. If in doubt, please get in touch and we will try to find a solution for you.
Can I change my start date?
Yes – but this will depend on the details of your booking, your start date and when you want to move it to. If you have any concerns about your booking or would like to move your departure date, please email us and we’ll get in touch to discuss your options.
Are there fees associated with changing the trip?
There are no fees to move your current booking to a future date if your trip has been suspended.
My tour has not been suspended, but I want to cancel my trip for later this year - what are my options?
At this stage, all trips other than those listed above are set to depart as scheduled, so the terms set out in our booking conditions will apply to any cancellations. We will promptly update you if this position changes.
