It is perfect for hiking and is also the location of the oldest shipwreck in the world. Many relics have been recovered, which can be seen at the museum on the nearby island of Spetses. Agistri is a popular day trip destination with Athenians, thanks to its great location and fabulous beaches, whilst Methana offers visitors a unique opportunity to bathe in its thermal springs.

The Cyclades, home to Santorini and Mykonos, include several smaller islands that absolutely epitomise Greece.
