Greece Corfu Explorer

I would say this was a once in a lifetime experience, except we loved it so much that I am already planning to take my sister back. Victor was an incredible skipper, affable and fun, with excellent boat handling and safety procedures. Betty was an exceptional host and cook with healthy, different and delicious food at every meal. We have tasted nothing better in Greece. The route, with all its secret swim spots and gorgeous villages was perfect. Often away from the maddening crowd, all part of Victor’s plan. The Ionian islands are beautiful.

We had SUCH and amazing week with JJ and Liv on the Lefkada trip. It was everything we were looking for and such a professional experience that I would recommend to anyone. The water was so blue, the food was amazing, JJ got us to the best spots and Liv was an absolute delight as our host. Thank you so much. We can't wait to return to Greece :)

This has to be the best experience in my life. Everything about this trip was way beyond my expectations. The skipper and just were amazing. The food was gourmet.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Corfu explorer sail with Lydia and Victor. The boat was great, the weather was perfect, our bed was comfortable. What really made the trip, was having our skipper Victor and host Lydia. They were a fantastic team, and made the week run so smoothly. Lydia’s cooking and hospitality was absolutely top notch, and we looked forward to each meal she provided. Victor was very knowledgeable about the landscape, sailing and culture. Victor was also clearly well liked by the locals which is always a great sign. Both kept up positive and enthusiastic attitudes the whole way through, even at the end of a long day. We felt completely safe the entire time and really enjoyed partaking in sailing. We would 100% recommend this experience.

We had the most incredible week on the Corfu Explorer trip with Yacht Getaways. It was exactly the relaxing holiday we were hoping for.
Every day we swam in crystal-clear water at stunning bays and secluded swimming spots, and each stop seemed even more beautiful than the last. One of the highlights was exploring the gorgeous island of Paxos by scooter, which gave us the chance to discover charming villages, hidden beaches and spectacular views.
A huge thank you to our skipper, Victor, who was one of the best skippers we've ever had. He was endlessly positive, calm and fun, and somehow never seemed stressed, no matter what was happening. He created such a relaxed atmosphere onboard and made everyone feel welcome. He also encouraged anyone who was interested to get involved with the sailing, which made the experience even more memorable.
Lydia, our chef, was equally amazing. Every meal was fresh, healthy and incredibly nourishing, and she made everything look effortless. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble, and she always had a smile on her face. We genuinely looked forward to every meal.
The combination of beautiful sailing, daily swims, fantastic food and such an exceptional crew made this one of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays we've ever had. We couldn't recommend Yacht Getaways and the Corfu Explorer trip more highly, and we'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful week sailing around the Greek Islands aboard Hakuna Matata. The highlights of the trip were definitely our skipper Victor and host Lydia, who were both amazing. Victor was knowledgeable and made us feel safe throughout the trip, while Lydia cooked amazing meals and always went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a fantastic time. Both brought the vibe to the yacht with music and fun times!
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that as a couple in our mid 20s, we were paired with guests much older than us. Everyone was lovely, but it wasn’t quite the social atmosphere we had expected.
Overall, it was still an unforgettable experience and a fantastic way to explore Greece. ⛵🇬🇷✨

Best trip. Great knowledge and food, exceptional and wonderful ports, restaurants, great swimming. Will use you guys again in the Caribbean.

We had an unforgettable week sailing in Greece with George and Georgia as our crew. George was an excellent skipper—he knew all the hidden gems and best places to anchor, and he skillfully navigated around bad weather so we could enjoy sunshine, swimming, and relaxing every day. Georgia made the trip extra special with her amazing meals. Every dish was different, beautifully prepared, and so delicious—ranging from traditional Greek food to creative twists like a Thai-inspired lunch. She also organized fun excursions and pointed us to the best spots for sunset drinks and dinners ashore. Together, George and Georgia made our holiday absolutely perfect. Their knowledge, warmth, and attention to detail turned a great trip into something truly exceptional. Could not recommend them more!

Charlie and Emma were absolutely amazing. They were patient with us, entertaining, and took care to include us in any plans that deviated from the original plan (we had to skip an island due to storms). Charlie and Emma did a great job with recommendations and directions at each port, as well as giving us daily info. The trip was beautiful, the ship was clean and well maintained, and Emma is an incredible cook. We are actually going to try and seek them out again for our next cruise.

We enjoyed a fabulous week with friends on YG. We were well looked after by the staff on board. It was immediately evident that our young Skipper Philomena, had the skills and experience to competently navigate our course each day. Rhianna our host made sure we were all comfortable and continually surprised us with her plethora of creative breakfasts and lunches . Both women worked hard to ensure we had the best sailing experience. They were both so lovely ( even going out of their way to make sure I had a fantastic birthday 🎉 on board) and by the end of the week it felt like we were one big family.
