Greece Paros Explorer

We had an unforgettable week sailing in Greece with George and Georgia as our crew. George was an excellent skipper—he knew all the hidden gems and best places to anchor, and he skillfully navigated around bad weather so we could enjoy sunshine, swimming, and relaxing every day. Georgia made the trip extra special with her amazing meals. Every dish was different, beautifully prepared, and so delicious—ranging from traditional Greek food to creative twists like a Thai-inspired lunch. She also organized fun excursions and pointed us to the best spots for sunset drinks and dinners ashore. Together, George and Georgia made our holiday absolutely perfect. Their knowledge, warmth, and attention to detail turned a great trip into something truly exceptional. Could not recommend them more!

Just returned from the Yacht Getaways Paros Explorer trip in July 2025 and I can't recommend it highly enough. This was one of the best trips I've ever had.
Our skipper Angus was fantastic - a skilled sailor with deep knowledge of the local waters and weather patterns. He knew exactly where to take us for the best swimming spots, most protected anchorages, and breath taking photo opportunities. Georgia, our hostess, was equally amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable and well-fed. Her Greek cooking was restaurant-quality. The itinerary was perfectly paced - we visited stunning beaches and ports around Paros, Naxos, Koufonisia, Schinoussa. and Antiparos. July weather was ideal, with consistent winds and endless sunshine. The yacht itself was well-maintained, comfortable, and had everything we needed. As sailing novices and average swimmers we felt completely at ease.

We enjoyed a fantastic week in Greece - sailing from Paros! Our skipper Philly & host Tati were a brilliant team! Whilst we struck a very windy week, our crew found us beautiful sheltered bays & ports for great swimming, sites & dining experiences! Great friends made & lots of laughs!

Captain Stewart was a great skipper. We felt safe in all weather and could see that Stewart went to great length to anchor in the calmest corner of each bay. Stewart’s driving ability was fantastic manoeuvring into ridiculously tight berths in tiny marinas, all with no fuss or outward stress.
Lucy our host and chef was wonderful with her daily details of sites of interest on each island so we always had something to look forward to ashore. Lucy was a tremendous chef, providing better meals aboard than any of the restaurants we attended. Lucy made sure we were never hungry.
