How It Works

Where do we even begin with this trip? We had been planning a yacht getaway for over five years and when the time finally arrived to sail the beautiful Ionian Sea, it exceeded every expectation.
Before we even arrived, Betty our host created a WhatsApp group for everyone on board, keeping us updated with all the meeting points, timings and useful information. It was such a thoughtful touch and made everything run smoothly from the start.
Unfortunately, due to a storm in the north and under instructions from the harbour master, we couldn't set sail on our first evening. Betty quickly arranged a table for us in Gouvia, where we enjoyed drinks and dinner with the rest of the crew. It turned out to be the perfect icebreaker and gave everyone a chance to get to know each other.
Thankfully, we were able to set sail first thing the next morning. Betty and our skipper, Nils, were absolutely fantastic throughout the trip. The food was incredible, with every meal somehow even better than the last, there was certainly no scrimping on quality or quantity. Nils more than made up for the delayed departure by taking us to beautiful, sheltered swimming spots on the way to Paxos and beyond.
Every island we visited, every secluded beach and every swim stop was simply breathtaking. This was truly a holiday we'll never forget and we can't recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely fabulous experience!! Our skipper Tamor loves sailing and the guests love adventure so it was a perfect fit. Tamor ensured we enjoyed the best of the Greek islands and anchored us at many different places to explore towns, beaches, caves, restaurants and my favourite was when we anchored in a private bay and lounged on the deck and watched the most beautiful night sky filled with stars, satellites and even had the unique experience of seeing the most spectacular shooting star!💫 All this would not have been possible without the assistance of our wonderful host Jose Simon who continuously amazed us each day with amazing meals and an endless supply of refreshments to keep us going. What a team !! Thank you for creating a wonderful experience. Highly recommend

We had an incredible, stress-free week sailing through the Saronic Islands with Yacht Getaways. Our crew Eimear and Laura were amazing. Eimear, our skipper, and Laura, our host, ensured everything was well organised, even from before we stepped aboard. Eimear created a WhatsApp group for questions and provided information so we knew what to expect and get prepared. Laura contacted us personally to make sure she was aware of special food needs.
Eimear was an exceptional skipper. Safety was her top priority, with her calm and confident demeanour admirable. She was incredibly knowledgeable, knowing the best places to take us according to the current sailing conditions. She navigated to gorgeous little bays, islands and swimming spots. Her knowledge of villages, sights and businesses on the islands was amazing. She advised us on great places to eat, drink and visit everywhere we went and offered to assist us in booking activities when we moored. Eimear really went above and beyond to make our trip a memorable one.
Eimear also encouraged us to get involved in the sailing, taking the time to explain what she was doing and why. She made sailing look easy!
Every breakfast and lunch was freshly prepared and beautifully presented by Laura. It was all delicios. No two meals were the same. She always went the extra mile without being asked. Her kind, warm and attentive nature added to the positive atmosphere on the boat.
Eimear and Laura were a great team. They went above and beyond to make our week unforgettable, including providing a lovely celebration when our daughter announced her engagement.
The catamaran itself had everything we needed for a relaxed week at sea. There was lots of fresh hot water for showers in our ensuite bathroom and our cabins had comfortable beds. There was air conditioning when it got really hot. The paddle boards, floaties, snorkels and goggles were fun for when we were swimming.
Our week sailing was the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation from start to finish. We had an awesome time and would certainly like to do this again.

We went on the Paros route trip in June 2026. Our host Lili and skipper Filip were fantastic. Lili’s food was amazing and Filip is a very experienced skipper. Lili and Filip are THE BEST! The islands we visited were also spectacular, I wish I could stay on the catamaran, sailing around forever. The trip is well worth the price, definitely recommend!!!
