Half board includes breakfast and lunch onboard your yacht daily, freshly prepared by your host. All meals on our catamaran cruises are crafted with the best local ingredients, and soft drinks or regional wines will be available to complement your meals.
The continental breakfast includes fresh coffee, tea, seasonal fruits, and a rotating sweet or savoury hot option like eggs, pancakes, or muffins.
Your lunch is a Mediterranean-inspired meal made from fresh, local ingredients and seasonal produce. This is paired with bakery-fresh bread, vibrant salads, and an array of sides.
We happily cater to dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and more. Just let your host know at the beginning of your sailing holiday.
Sailing the Mediterranean is different from many other styles of travel, so here are our cruise packing recommendations to help make your trip a breeze!
- Lightweight, breathable summer clothes, swimwear, and a beach towel
- Soft luggage over hard luggage to save your space and maximise comfort
- Flip-flops or sandals, and appropriate footwear for excursions
- Portable charger, sunscreen, medication, reusable water bottle
For spring or autumn departures (May or September), pack a light jacket and trousers for cooler evenings. See our detailed packing list with more packing advice for your sailing trip.
No special boat shoes are required for your sailing trip. Most guests go barefoot on board, wear sandals, or flip-flops.
For onshore activities in Croatia or Greece like hiking, cycling, or exploring villages, we recommend bringing a comfortable pair of trainers or walking shoes. This will allow you to experience the best of the destinations to their fullest without a hitch.
Absolutely. Our hosts are well-equipped to cater for a range of dietary preferences and allergies including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and more.
Please notify us in advance and inform your host. It’s good to consider bringing specialist food items if you require niche products not readily available in smaller island stores.
Yes! All Yacht Getaways sailing holidays are ‘bring your own’ with no extra fee – you’re welcome to bring your preferred alcohol, snacks, or soft drinks.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to stock up at local markets and stores during the trip, and many of the larger islands have supermarkets where you can find most supplies you might want or need.
As you sail Croatia or Greece, you’ll discover an abundance of delicious local flavours and cuisine. Dinner is your chance to dine out at charming local restaurants and explore the culinary culture of each destination.
From fresh seafood tavernas in Greece to hidden konobas in Croatia, our crew will offer local dining recommendations based on your preferences—whether you’re after romantic waterfront spots, a local gastronomic experience, or family-friendly bites.
