Activities for all with yacht rental in Turkey

Yacht rental is a lovely relaxing way to explore the Turquoise Coast of Tukey but if you fancy a bit more of an active break there are plenty of opportunities to do so along the way. Fethiye is a bustling port and the nearby town of Oludeniz has lots of different things to do.

The big attraction here is the beach, with its postcard-perfect golden sands just made for sunbathing on. The sheltered Blue Lagoon makes an ideal spot to try a variety of watersports, including scuba diving in the stunningly azure waters. The mountainous backdrop and verdant national park fringing the beach all add to the appeal and make for some interesting walks.

The rugged landscape is also ideal for one of the region’s other popular sporting activities. Tandem paragliding from the top of Babadag Mountain is an experience like no other. Beginners are welcome and you can enjoy a spectacular birds-eye view of the lagoon during the half hour flight before landing on the beach.

Oludeniz is also a great place to discover some of the fascinating archaeological treasures of the region and there are some lovely walls along the ancient Lycian Trail. If you would prefer not to put in quite so much legwork, exploring this area on horseback makes a charming alternative.

From high-octane thrills to gentle afternoons in the sun, there is something for everyone to enjoy here.
