Discover magical Mykonos cruising the Greek islands

There are plenty of places to visit when cruising the Greek islands and Mykonos is an absolute must-see. It has a well-deserved reputation as a buzzing destination where there is always plenty going on. Great shopping, a bustling nightlife and lots of Greek charm are just a few good reasons to come here.

Mykonos Town, also known as Chora, is where much of the action takes place. Whitewashed houses adorned with trailing bougainvillea are everywhere, as are on-trend boutiques offering the latest designer fashions. Little Venice is the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing drink, where ‒ as the name suggests ‒ you can relax by the waterfront, while high above the town are Mykonos’s famous clifftop windmills. You can also visit the island’s most famous church, Panagia Paraportiani, which rises majestically from the rocks. Although visitors cannot usually enter, this enchanting chapel is all about the exterior and the spectacular glowing white walls provide a stunning photo opportunity.

Mykonos is also the ideal mooring spot if you want to visit one of the most interesting Greek archaeological sites. Delos, sometimes known as Dilos, was a sacred island with a temple dedicated to the god Apollo. It has been incredibly well preserved and both buildings and sculptures from many different periods can be found here.

With lots of stunning attractions, charming architecture, gorgeous waterfront bars and some of the best nightlife in Greece, Mykonos is the perfect destination.
