Cruising around the Dalmatian coast on your luxury yacht is the perfect way to relax and take in the sights of this beautiful countryside; however, if you fancy getting even closer to the water, there are lots of fun activities to try that will make your Croatia sailing holiday even more exciting.

Sailing Croatia - Stand up paddle boarding

Stand-up paddle boarding, or SUP, has nothing to do with comedy but can be extremely entertaining. Essentially you use a long board, similar to a surf board, as a kind of raft. While standing, you steer with a long paddle to move yourself about. This is great fun for people all ages and abilities, and can be as easy or physically demanding as you like. Paddle along the Croatian coastline or get out on the clear water near one of the islands. All our yachts are supplied with paddle boards, meaning that you can have a go whenever you like.

Sea kayaking is perfect for those who enjoy seeing the sights from a different perspective. One of the most popular tours is along the coast of Dubrovnik, where you have a unique opportunity to see the city walls from below. Even novices can get in on the action, as training is given before you start to make your way along the coast. Most tours will include time on the water before rowing to a nearby beach; in addition, there is usually an opportunity to explore the local marine life with some scuba diving time.

Add some extra thrills to your Croatia sailing holiday by trying a new water sport.
