There are so many beautiful spots to choose from that you really are spoiled for choice along the Dalmatian coast; however, if you are looking for somewhere to soak up the sun in peaceful, traditional and stunning surroundings during your boat hire in Croatia, Gradina Bay should definitely be near the top of your wish list.

Croatian boat hire - See the sights

The island of Korcula is sure to be a highlight of your trip, offering everything from historic sights and fascinating nightlife to quiet beaches and fabulous vineyards. The pretty little port of Vela Luka, on the western side of the island, is popular with tourists seeking out some authentic Croatian charm. There are plenty of coves here in which to swim; however, if you are looking for a quiet beach, head around three miles up the coast to beautiful Gradina Bay.

Off the typical tourist track, this pretty little bay is much less busy. There is the stunning gothic church of St John to visit and plenty of konobas serving excellent local cuisine. The sheltered bay offers plenty of shade if you want a break from the sun and a good mixture of both sandy and pebble beaches. Another bonus is the shallow, clear water, creating a perfect safe space for swimmers that is ideal for both adults and families with younger children. Gradina Bay is an extremely charming spot.
