We’ve Been Nominated for Best Yacht Cruises Again!
We have some pretty exciting news to share: Yacht Getaways has been nominated at the 2026 World Luxury Travel Awards.
After being named the 2025 & 2024 Global Winner for Best Yacht Cruises, finding out that we’ve been nominated again this year is incredibly special.
Last year’s win was one of those moments we didn’t quite know how to process. We’re a relatively small, independent team based in London, running yacht cruises hundreds of miles away across the islands of Greece and Croatia. Seeing the Yacht Getaways name recognised on a global stage, alongside some of the biggest names in luxury travel, meant a lot.
To have the chance to do it again? We’re very grateful.

An Award That Belongs to the Whole Crew
While Yacht Getaways might be the name on the nomination, there are a lot of people behind it.
Our skippers and hosts are the ones out on the water every week, sometimes up to 24 weeks a summer, bringing these holidays to life.
They’re up early preparing breakfast, finding the perfect bay for a morning swim, navigating between islands, recommending their favourite local restaurants and making sure everything aboard runs as smoothly as possible.
If you’ve sailed with us before, you’ll know exactly who we mean.
Great hospitality often looks effortless when you’re the one enjoying it. Behind the scenes, though, there’s an enormous amount of care, knowledge and hard work that goes into creating each week.
So this nomination is as much theirs as it is ours.
It also belongs to our team behind the scenes, our local partners across the Mediterranean and, of course, the thousands of guests who have trusted us with their holidays over the years.

From Greece and Croatia to the World Luxury Travel Awards
When we started Yacht Getaways, the idea was relatively simple: create a way to experience the Mediterranean that felt more personal than a traditional cruise, while taking care of the details that can make organising a sailing holiday feel complicated.
Today, our luxury yacht cruises in Greece and Croatia take guests between some of our favourite islands, harbours and coastal towns aboard crewed catamarans.
There are mornings waking up somewhere completely new, long lunches overlooking little harbours, swims straight from the yacht and evenings spent exploring places you might never have discovered travelling another way.
But the part we’re proudest of is the experience our team creates around all of it.
Winning Best Yacht Cruises at the 2025 World Luxury Travel Awards was an incredible recognition of that. Being nominated again tells us that what our team is doing continues to resonate with the people who travel with us.
And that’s something worth celebrating.

Could You Help Us Bring It Home Again?
Now comes the part where we need a little help from you.
Voting for the 2026 World Luxury Travel Awards is open from 17–31 August 2026, and the winners are decided through votes from travellers and the wider travel industry.
If you’ve joined us for a yacht cruise in Greece or Croatia, travelled with us over the years, recommended Yacht Getaways to someone else or simply followed our adventures from afar, we’d be incredibly grateful for your support.
A vote might only take a moment, but for a smaller independent travel company, it genuinely means a lot.
It supports our team in London, our partners across Greece and Croatia and, most importantly, the brilliant skippers and hosts who make Yacht Getaways what it is.

Thank you to everyone who has sailed with us, supported us and helped us get here. Here’s hoping we can bring Best Yacht Cruises home for another year! 🏆
