No. You don’t need any previous sailing experience to join a Yacht Getaways cruise. Your RYA-qualified skipper takes care of the sailing and navigation, while your professional host prepares your included onboard meals. You’re welcome to learn the ropes and take the helm, or simply sit back and enjoy the journey.
Your 7-day cruise includes six nights’ accommodation aboard your premium catamaran, an RYA-qualified skipper and professional host, daily breakfast and lunch, one evening meal onboard, wine or soft drinks with meals, tea, coffee and drinking water, two paddle boards, snorkelling equipment, towels and fresh linen for the week.
Both offer spectacular island hopping, but the experiences are different. Greece combines iconic islands, ancient history and whitewashed villages across several distinct island groups, while Croatia offers historic Adriatic towns, beautiful coastal scenery and island routes from Split and Dubrovnik. Croatia, at times, can feel more grandiose and fantastical, whereas Greece is more laid-back and local.
Yes. Couples can book a private cabin rather than chartering an entire yacht, making our Mediterranean sailing holidays ideal for two people travelling together. You'll be sharing the catamaran with other like-minded travellers.
Yes. Families and groups of friends can charter an entire catamaran for a private sailing experience with their own skipper and host. We have different yacht classes depending on your group size, from Superior that can have 8 guests, or Superior Plus that accommodates for up to 12 people.
Our catamarans typically have four to five private double cabins below deck, each with ensuite facilities, charging points, fans, and AC. Cabin sizes and layouts vary between yacht categories, with our Superior Plus yachts offering larger Queen+ beds on selected yachts.
Our Greece and Croatia sailing holidays run for seven days and 6 nights, giving you a full week to explore multiple destinations while using your catamaran as your base.
